Tomorrow begins them wind down of our winter quarter with final exams. I have been studying for these upcoming exams and not gotten much done other than a few little things. Still my wife and I have been taking advantage of the lovely weather and studying outdoors. We rode our bikes over to a local café and had coffee in the shade outside. A wind had picked up and was causing the blossoms to fall upon us like snow. I managed to get a few pictures but only a few caught the tiny pastel petals as they came raining down.

Among the little things that I managed to find time for was some repairs done to the Type A Machine's 3D printer.
I messed up my hotend but managed to get it cleaned out and running. If you want to do this I ramped up the temperature to about 230 C and pushed a bit of thin wire into the nozzle. After running the wire through it a few times I pushed some filament in and let it extrude until it came out nice and smooth. Just in time for spring break.

All that's left to do is re-attach the heat sync and I can get back to prototyping which is great because I've had some really exciting ideas lately.
So upcoming I will definitely do some printing next week as well as post the conversion/restoration project of a vintage swing arm engineering lamp. It needs re-wiring and I will convert it from a fluorescent tube to an LED. I think three high power LEDs will do the trick. So please join me for that and any other projects I begin/work on/finish.
As always, thanks for joining me and until next time happy creating.
